With a growing number of colors available on the 3DS, do you think we will see various colors for the Wii U? And if so, what colors? Personally I think the system will launch with both Black and White color options and then later on in the Wii U life cycle other colors will be available through bundles and events. Discuss Below

I would definitely buy a black console. White is so mundane these days.

I hope there'll be a large range of colour options for the Wii U. If there is only one colour available at launch, I'm hoping it would be black, as I think it would look better than white and it would make it clearer that it's a brand new console.

I wouldn't expect to see a huge range of colours available for the Wii U, as we have with the DS and 3DS though. A Wii U would generally just sit in one place people would only tend to look at it when they're changing the disc or setting it up. Handhelds though, tend to be more of an accessory and are also more personal, so colours tend to be more important to buyers.

i hope for silver at launch, but I fear Nintendo will only do white and black. and as AMAC said black would make it clearer that it's a brand new console.

I don't think bright blues and reds would fit in with my TV stand very well. I would personally be looking for silver, black, and maybe even white. Blue and red would stick out like a broken leg on my TV stand!

As much as I'd love a pink one (not magenta, that's purple. Not the typical flesh metallic either) I'll be happy with the black/white they'll probably be releasing. I'd choose a white over a black one but honestly I don't care much either way. I hope it's shiny and not matte...

It's only going to be black and white options for a while. They will probably come out with limited edition colour releases someway down the road.

I know it won't happen anytime soon but I want a black with gold legend of Zelda designs to match my beautiful 3ds. I know... I'm dreaming. Especially cause I'm a day 1 buyer. I may have to go black and get some custom work done. Thank God my wife is an artist.

The Pro Controller looks good in both colors. I like the White the best.
