While I didn't realize it was a F2P game, I doubt Nintendo would put a rated M game on every new wiiU. Even if they are aiming for a more hardcore market this go around. I doubt even microsoft or sony would even give out an M rated game. Either way it's free, you'll just have to take the time to download it.

I think the release titles will be the 'party/family' type mini-games. The large hardcore games will be released seperatly by the third party developer.

I really don't think its up to Nintendo at all for this decision. If we look at the history of Ubisoft we can see that they love money... lots of it.

Agreed. I could see a wiiU-sports title coming with the console. But not a shooter.

I'm guessing no. The many younger gamers who buy Wii U wouldn't be allowed to play it, which would put people off, which would reduce sales. It would still be awesome though.

Are you crazy? This isn't the type of game Nintendo wants to sell for free. They want good games, but they want the bundle deals to be for casual gamers, even if they are focusing on the core gamers.

I wonder how Iwata's latest craziness applies to GRO's strategy.

In the end it's Ubisoft's game I reckon so it'll be up to them. It will be very hard for them to sell it on a console if you can play it for free on PC.
I'm guessing they will sell it for a very small amount, say 5$, as a downloadable game. Justifying the price because of the new way of playing.

I was under the impression that it would be a free pickup for the wiiU as well. If it really was supposed to be a good game I'd probably drop around $15 for it.

There's no way a game not made by Nintendo would be free with the hardware. I would love it if they made a new Mario game and included that with the hardware. It would be awesome if they went back to their roots and included a REAL game with the hardware, like Mario 64 with the N64.

I don't think that it's going to be bundled with the Wii U, but maybe it will come bundled with another Ubisoft game, like Killer Freaks.

I'd say they would charge for the game and have in game money to purchase the extra stuff...Thats what I think anyways, could be wrong.

I am beginning to think it will be free with Microtransactions with in the game http://www.gonintend...story&id=170999 the article states Nintendo will allow 3rd party devs to have social game like microtransactions.

Nice find!

Also one thing I feel is misunderstood:

Ghost Recon Online is not rated M. It hasn't even been rated yet. And the Ghost Recon Series hasn't been rated M since the first 3 (Ghost Recon, Island Thunder, and Desert Siege.) Ever since Ghost Recon 2 it's been rated T. Unless Furture Solder get's rated M, we can assume that GRO will be T as well.
