So Nintendo Network is the Nintendo version of XBL and PSN ? So Miiverse is what exactly ?

Nintendo's gaming version of Facebook.

I wish we could get a Nintendo Direct sometime this month so Nintendo could clearly explain what Nintendo Network and Miiverse are, I understand them a little bit but it would be super if they would just clearly tell me
