I can't really see smart glass working with it as not everyone has a tablet and it will be difficult to use since the tablet's not the controller so you have to use two devices at once.

No. Ubisoft, no. ZombiU really should be a Wii U exclusive. If it was developed for that console, it should be only on that console. Xbox Smartglass wouldn't work the same way the Wii U's controller would, as you said.
Ubisoft, please keep ZombiU a Wii U exclusive. Please Ubisoft.

It will stay a Wii U exclusive. I don't see any reason why they would say oh it is an exclusive, for a whole year, and then decide to make it multi-platform.

its called Zombi U as in Wii U. Ubisoft dont be stupid. Even the U in ZombiU is identical to the U in Wii U with red instead of blue.

I don't see how a game called ZombiU will work on PS3 or 360... Unless they intend to rename it. Either way, I'll be dissapointed if it isn't exclusive.

They could just call it Zombi,which was the name of Ubisoft's first published game.

Even if they did put it on PS3 and 360 the name would need to change, the gameplay would be differernt so techincally the Wii U version will always be here, anyway they said they where going to put Red Steel on PS3 and 360 but that never happended.

depends if wii U wont sale much in the beginning, it will be a huge damage for UBI.. Maybe thats why they said that.. They get more from multiplatforms... And wii U at this point got 0 sales.

Yeah I don't see them doing this unless the Wii U or the game itself gets bad sales. It's one of the only decent looking launch titles so I'm pretty confident it has a good chance of doing well. (Only thing holding it back is its zombie genre...)

If they do plan to make it multiplatform then it'll probably just be named Zombi 2 or something. That might confuse some buyers though. Anyways, I'm sure It'll be exclusive for Wii U. Ubisoft seems pretty serious about exclusive support.

They're gonna keep it just on the Wii U, they said that if they took red steel to other platforms it would take away from what makes the game fun, the same will be said about Zombi U

ZombiU is seriously my only incentive to remain hyped for the Wii U. It might not be a Retro game, but by god it feels like the saving grace for the system.

They really only mentioned it as a possibility. Perhaps they could bring it to other consoles, but it would have to be changed a bit. As for smartglass, I can see it happening, but it wouldn't be as user friendly as it is with the Upad. I really doubt that smartglass is any competition for the Upad.

I'm going to agree with you on all points. This game was designed to be played on the WiiU.
