I'm so tired of this argument about the vita + ps3 and tablet + 360 being better then the Wii U.

1. Wii U will be a lot cheaper then buying both other setups.

2. Game developers won't be sure if gamers have both items so making a game specifically for them to work together may not be worth it.

2 key points why the Wii U will be the only choice compared to the other 2 "options".

This is pretty obvious to be honest. You'd have to be very delusional to think that a console + handheld can do more with two screens than a console that is designed from the ground up to have two screens by itself.

Vita and PS3 does look like a pretty kick-ass combo though. I like the idea of being able to stream your PS3 games to it and play them from the Vita, but I dunno if that feature's still gonna be in.

Not to mention with SmartGlass developers will have to make UI for mostly every Tablet and Phone currently on the market, and every future device that will come out after the game launches. Not every Phone and Tablet have the same Display Resolution.

PS3 + Vita would actually work if it had games.
And sales.

I like Sony's solution, however it is a little too expensive for the time being. Microsoft is just the kid sitting in the corner eating glue when it comes to practical solutions to Nintendo's innovation.

Be wary, the suck is coming.

I went to my friend's house recently and I got to see Remote play in action.
IMO its just something you use when you have someone over at your house and you only have one controller.
As for SmartGlass I mean come on! As soon as Microsoft talked you know they were just copying Nintendo.
Sony has an excuse because who wouldn't want to connect the latest handheld to its respective console.

I shower you with coconut cream pies.

point is that with sony you'll only get the option to change from one screen to another, with Wii U you can get brand new gameplay based around having a second screen and that is something no one else will be able to other until they make their controllers with touchscreens and motion control etc.

The PS Vita and PS3 connection along with Microsoft's SmartGlass seems more of an 'add-on' to extend the player's gameplay whilst the Wii U's extra screen appears to be part of the main gameplay experience all together.

Is this what you mean? It's better to have a visual representation. Yes, I modified the original picture.
