I've been wondering what you all think about what the prices of Wii U games will be.

I think that all high-quality, non-shovelware Wii U games will be priced at $60. The 25GB discs are going to be much more expensive to produce than the old Wii discs, so I would expect that the prices of the games will make up for it.

What are your thoughts?

$60 is the standard price for games on Xbox and PS3.

I hope we get them for $50 but I think that all of the games will probably cost $60.

Be wary, the suck is coming.

I'll be conservative and just say $60 for both first and third party offerings. Although this could easily not be the case (Nintendo is full of surprises) I'll just hedge my guesses with what is more likely.

Really? Here in Australia ALL Nintendo 1st party games are on a static price of $99 AUS. Much more than 3rd party games. You United Kingdomers are lucky. :(

It will be like the other two systems. 60 dollars for majority of games. 50 or less for low budget games.

1st party prices are normally static full price over here as well. Everything else usually drops by £5-10 about 2 months after release. Wii U will be standard £40/$60.
