As Deadly said, it's inspiration, with a side of competition. Those developers know Nintendo is the most innovative gaming company ever established, and Nintendo's ideas always flourish (except the Power Glove). Imitation is the greatest form of flattery.

Well, the PS Eye Toy was around before the Wii. I can agree with the similarities between the Wii remote and the PS Move controller though.

Those are pretty much the same thing... Eyetoy was developed into the camera for Move.

Keep in mind that although Eyetoy was created first, Sony abandoned the idea, and as I had said in my last post, too risky to put out into the market, so they waited until someone did.

I've known all of this for awhile, and i used to care and be like "All the other's suck, Nintendo's beast!!!", but, compeition's good

There's nothing new about companies using their rivals ideas in this industry and I doubt every idea Nintendo has ever had has been completely original. I'm locking this now, as this thread seems to be be attacking Microsoft and Sony.
