A lot of conflict has gone around on whether Nintendo should create an FPS, I personally think it would be a good idea, but if it fails it would get a lot of bad press. What do you think??

I do not simply because they don't need to and it isn't their kind of style. I like the way Mario and Legend of Zelda is just fine and I am sure plenty others agree so I don't want one right now.

theres too many first person shooters already, it would rather have nintendo make the unique games activision will just never do

Nintendo have already published FPSes in the past, so I don't see why they shouldn't continue.

I saw they can, but try to make it different from the military shooter. They should try to make it unique.

Sure. Nintendo never went wrong with FPS, they just don't abuse the genre like most developers do because of all the "hardcore" gamer wannabe-types.

More games from Nintendo is always good. I agree with most people above me who have been saying that it would need to unique, and not a military one.

Well yes and no. I voted yes because I would like to see Nintendo score an epic win with their unique FPS and no because even if the game is awesome fanboys will say hateful things like: "Oh look that dumb Wii U thing isn't enough for Nintendo and now their making FPS's they're so dumb". See what I mean?

Anything Nintendo makes is criticized by Sony and Microsoft fanboys, so it's not like it's different then if they were to make a new Mario game except this is a fresh idea (not hatin on Mario, I love that franchise more than any other )

I would kinda like to see an online kinda CoD/Battlefield like FPS from Nintendo but with the Nintendo style.

If they did make one i would want it to be more innovative FPS like Portal instead of being a generic garbage carbon copy of CoD...

If they make an FPS i would like to see it go more adventure and open style with the campaign and keep that with the online, should have lots of destructable stuff like BF3 and also interactive things along with it, simple things like buildings you can enter, fortifications you can place, make it a true strategic and open FPS while still keeping the fun and i'll be all for it.

While typing this a slight idea popped up but this doesn't have to be their big FPS game but a FPS version of smash bros would be nice too only Samus would probably have the advantage , or they could simply forget the FPS thing and go for a "Smite" type of moba (3rd person instead of overhead) with Nintendo characters and movement similar to what you would have normally in a action game that would be awesome.

I think there isn't enough good post apocalyptic games. A first person one with an extra long interesting story would be awesome. Kinda like fallout but no zombies. ZombiU has the zombies covered. But A nuclear apocalypse would be awesome if Bethesda doesn't make the next fallout for Wii U. Also it would be good to have a choice in what style camera you want to use. and not be limited to one camera. Most games nowadays you limited to one camera.

OR An economy apocalypse. were everyone goes broke. OR events leading up to and after a nuclear apocalypse, or a zombie and nuclear apocalypse combined.

Or they can really innovate and completely come up with a new genre.
