This is cryengine 3.
This is unreal engine 4
Just because I just recently found the cryengine 3 demo, and I don't make enough polls.

The UE4 demo was nice, but it looked like something that should just be a patch/add-on to UE3. Nothing that spectacular.
The post above was certified to be simply smashing by the Wii U Forum Staff.

CryEngine 3 is definitely well on the way to next-gen, however. But I feel like it's being held back by PS360 hardware. I want to see what it can do when running games for the Wii U, PS4 or Xbox 720. Crysis 3 looks amazing, but it still isn't pushing the capabilities of modern PCs far enough to be "next-gen" I don't think, since it also has to be downscaled to run on current-gen tech.

Seriously though, Cry Engine 3 focus' more on lightning effects, while Unreal Engine 4 is making a big deal out of particles.
The both look great, but Cry Engine wins because they have top secret tessellated toad tech.

BUT tbh i think Cryengine does look better, why? well it does that wild atmosphere amazingly well, and it seems so smooth. Also look at that toad ! that is just awesome textures right there.
UE 4 doesnt impress me much
im just glad cryengine 3 " works beautifully" on wii u lol

and that is the fact that tech demos are hardly good comparisons
but if i were to guess, it would be cryengine, unreal never really was too good of an engine

isnt that built with ridiculously high specs? lol even so the other engines look great atmActually, I would say this is more "next gen" when it comes to graphics and graphics technology.

Of course it looks better but you have to looks through that, UE4 focuses more on gameplay related elements while Cryengine focuses only on looks. UE4 includes real time demolition for example which can make gameplay a lot more cool for example. And I have to say the UE demo had a lot cleaner image than Cryengine one.
You can't judge two engines to each other if just look at two demos really. Those two used completely different art styles. Focused on showing different stuff.
Actually, I would say this is more "next gen" when it comes to graphics and graphics technology.
that one is just BS. It's just a voxel based engine and it's "unlimited" only cause they made a simple program that removes the voxel when it's smaller than a pixel. Yeah it works great for that purpose but not for games.

That, anvil next, frostbite, etc. are used in-house with very few and far between exceptions.the new square enix engine should be a choice
cryengine and unreal are meant to be sold to everyone.
