Well yes it is voxel based but they removed that word due to it being somewhat derogatory in modern industry as they aren't respected. What the engine does is only renders what you are seeing, this is different from what other modern engines do because these engines render it all at once and only show it to you when it appears, just like your eyes do, the world is still around you, you just only see it when its in front of you. The Euclideon technology does something different by making things as they appear, like if when you looked at something, it was created right then and there.that one is just BS. It's just a voxel based engine and it's "unlimited" only cause they made a simple program that removes the voxel when it's smaller than a pixel. Yeah it works great for that purpose but not for games.
Now the tech isn't perfect and probably isn't good for right now, it would take a large amount of time to create such things in the game and learning to develop with this would be difficult, but it could be done. And since we are only talking about what they have shown through their video and all of their claims, we can't be for certain how well it runs, works, or how easy it would be to develop for. All I will say is it looks promising and the technology is truly the next leap that graphics will take, because it looks amazing, that is something that you cannot deny.
