I mean, like the <Imp Pan Pet Sis> button but with the wii u gamepad making screenshots of whats happening in the big screen. It would be great to share any part of the game, like in SSBB that we can make screenshots and share them later. What about video recording of what happens in the big screen, just imagine the possibilities.

Video recording would make a huge peformance impact so I don't think so.

It is easy enough to make your own screenshots, by purchasing a video capture card for your computer. Years ago, back when I owned a GameCube, I used to take videos and screen shots all the time and upload them to YouTube. Sadly, when I upgrade to 64-bit Windows, my external capture card was no longer compatible with my machine, but it was cheap anyway. Really cheap. Haven't bothered to replace it yet. I'm thinking of getting a new one for my Wii U. It would be nice to be able to upload gameplay videos to YouTube again.

I hope so! It would be great if we could have our voice (through the GamePad mic) onto the video recordings so we can make Let's Plays!

Pretty sure Iwata confirmed screenshots in the pre-e3 nintendo direct.

It shouldn't be too hard to make in-game screenshots, the PSVita is already capable of doing that.
Video recording is a possibility.

Even the psp was able to do that so in game screenshots is nothing for a system made in 2012.What i want is in game video recording.

We all know the Wii U is capable of taking screenshot but the problem is sometimes Nintendo is too lazy to put an awesome feature, but I hope we can take screenshots, just imagine the awesome it will be with Miiverse. Video recording, maybe if is true the rumor of the 0.5 GB for the OS.
