Favorite Smash Brothers?

Super Smash Bros. (N64)
Super Smash Bros. Melee (GCN)
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii)
My Opinion:
My personel favorite is Brawl. I just like the fluent control, the graphics, even the story! I know most love Melee the best and I can understand why, but to me in Melee I feel a bit too heavy in that game. I guess I just got used to the way Brawl feels. Here is my Top 3 list:
1. Super Smash Bros. Brawl
2. Super Smash Bros.
3.Super Smash Bros. Melee
I know most won't agree with me putting Melee at the bottom. But remember, I only have a choice between 3 games for this list and plus, that doesn't mean I don't like Melee! In fact, I love it, along with all the other Smash Brothers. Anyways, that was my opinion. What's yours?

But, I 100% agree, so you aren't alone. I liked Brawl the most because there was always a bucketload of things to do, and I prefer Nunchuk. I also liked the original because it had Board the Platforms. They really need to bring that back.

Brawl is the perfect example of a way to make a very deep replayable game that will cause you to throw 1000s of hours of your life down the toilet
Smash bros is a great example of a nostalgia boner
i did not number or order them in any fashion them because numbering them confines them to that and thats not true expression

1. Melee
3. Brawl
4. Original
Yes i know i skipped 2 because melee was one of my favorite games of all time. It was the best game for the gamecube, I still play it more than brawl. which is really saying something because i play brawl a LOT. I wish they kept mewtwo... and Falco's original move set, I was tank with Falco in Melee but then they F'd him up in brawl so now I play with Snake and he is pretty good too. And my favorite part of Melee, NO CHEAP METANIGHT CRAP. Everyone I know plays metanight because all you do is press one button and your guaranteed to do exceptional.
I was once known here as KillerMario, but since I really like Banjo-Kazooie, I changed my display name to show them my respect

I like the variety, but I hear Melee is a titch faster, gameplay-wise.
Is that true? I haven't actually played Melee in a while.

Does Smash have a single player and/or story?

2.Melee (first ssb I owned I loved it)
3.SSB ( First one I played as kid although I played when the Game cube was about to come out I love this one too)
To me SSBB wasn't perfect because of the RANDOM SLIPPING AND subspace emissary was kinda of wack but still good espcially in Coop mode

Yes it does. If you're considering to get Brawl, I highly recommend it. It has addictive gameplay and a great storymode that you can also play co-op with a 2nd player.I may get thrashed here, but I've never been big on Smash Brothers, or any fighting game.

The first game didn't have a plot, it was just your typical arcade mode.I may get thrashed here, but I've never been big on Smash Brothers, or any fighting game.

Melee had adventure mode, which was more or less a side scroller of no significance.
Brawl had the subspace emissary. It was a scripted set of sequences, but didn't really say much. It was more or less a strange chain of coincidence that led to a fight against a common enemy... and that's it. Then they turned into trophies and watched the sunset.

I'm surprised by the love Brawl is receiving here... I know sooo many who prefer Melee for it's technicality and speed...

My next favorite would have to be Brawl. It had a great story and lots of modes. My main complaint is that i can almost never get online players. Also, the physics engine makes the chaacters wayyyy to heavy.
Lastly Melee. The graphics looks too much like the N64, the character physics make them way to light and there are just too many clones. I also dont find it as fun to play with my friend people. That will be all.
