Delete) you post a topic about a news article about the Wii U, but find out that someone already posted it Minutes ago and didn't see. Now you can delete it.
Lock) if things go off topic on one that you created and people are beginning to argue, you can lock your topic yourself to avoid more conflict.
So? Whatcha think?

So on topics that YOU create, if you find that they have issues you can delete or lock them, for example;

Lock) if things go off topic on one that you created and people are beginning to argue, you can lock your topic yourself to avoid more conflict.
So? Whatcha think?
I like the functionality!

Deleting and locking are moderator privileges and shouldn't be shared with members.
Just report your threads.

So report your thread and ask the people chosen to have those abilities to do it for you.This idea should be a given to all members on the site. Like you said, if you posted a topic and then see that one is already posted, you can quickly delete it before some rude person starts yelling at you for making a topic that has already been made. Great idea!
How hard is it to ask someone to do it when it's their job?

But it would come in handy right now to delete this topic

I would love an ignore user option in the chatbox. I know you guys don't control the coding for the chatbox and it's more than likely a third party thing, but spamming and such can get out of control on some days.

As for the chatbox, I don't know of any option to ignore other users. If someone is spamming, all you can do is report them and if I think they've broken the rules, they'll normally be banned from the Chat.

Try /ignore [name] in the chat.I like the idea but I think this is something that can be abused. Trolls can start a topic and delete it on and off.. I can see them not risking it. This does remind me of something I've wanted for awhile however:
