Which one should I buy?

I'd use the tablet to mainly watch movies, play games and browse the web.


The Galaxy Tab has more features but is less powerful than the Nexus. ($249)

- Standard display
- Dual Core processor
- Android 4.0
- microSD card slot
- dual cameras
- IR blaster (can be used as a T.V. remote)

The Nexus has a better screen and is more powerful than the Galaxy but lacks features. ($259)

- IPS HD display
- Quad Core Processor
- Android 4.1 (preferred operating system for me)
- No microSD card slot
- Only front facing camera
- No IR blaster

For me, a microSD card slot is one of the determining factors on a tablet. If it lacks one, then it's a no-go for me.

So between the two of them, I'd go for the Galaxy Tab just for the microSD card slot.
