just wondering mario games more violent
Pokedex entry: Mewtwo: The butt pokemon. It is really sexy and any pokemon that sees it wants to have sex with it. It's power comes from it's butt.

One of the reasons that I like Mario in the first place is because of its mild cartoon violence.
It would just seem really out of place to see a Mario game with genuine violence.

Mario should never appear in a game more violent than SSB. Nintendo aren't going to make a Mario game that would have an age rating of more than 7+.

I don't think that warrants a facepalm.
"Can we have an even more violent Mario game?" is the hypothetical question here. It may be Tekken, but it gets the example across.

I talked about this once before. I'd LOVE so much a Mario-universe game in a mature style like Conker's Bad Fur Day. Of course this doesn't mean Mario needs to be gunning down Koopas and Goombas with an AK-47 while committing sexual acts with Peach, but I'd just really enjoy seeing a Mario game that took on some adult humour like Conker and did something that absolutely no one would be expecting from Nintendo.

Mario jumps on enemies, burns them with fire, hangs with 'shrooms, and chases tail. He's pretty hardcore.

I doubt Nintendo would take a major turn in their biggest franchise in mature content terms. I could see it happening with a smaller, lesser known franchise. But a big series like Mario probably will never take a turn on the M rated side.
