Eurogamer has had too many mistakes and RETRACTIONS (not updates, as they like to say) to be a trustworthy source. An update is a new piece of info. A retraction is correcting something you said that was wrong. They can't even be trusted to own up.

They "print" something and instead of letting that be that, they are corrected by the source they claim to represent. It's actually pretty pathetic.

I can just imaging them asking questions for the interview, then looking around the room disinterested while the guy is talking, then go home to their mom's basement and write about what they though they guy just said...

That's the article I was yapping about.

I kinda figured that, but i thought you just wanted a link.

After all, I already said they havent confessed to these most recent shenanigans yet.

So I assumed you must have wanted a link to the old shenanigans for some reason.

If you're accusing them of lying, you need to prove it. So go ahead and prove it.

Id say blatantly, brazenly, lying about what a dev team said about the graphics of a ps3/360 port, that the wii u games graphics would be the same as the ps3/360 versions it ported from-

and instead lying and saying that said team said the wii u's graphical abilities were only the same as 360/ps3 would be proof plenty.

You know, the documented proof of them being caught, called out on, and then publicly apologizing for said lie.

You know from the article you seemed to have been already been referring to, then asked for a link to, then said you already knew about, and then asked for proof again....

Are you all right?

We still don't know the full specification of the wii u so to complain that Eurogamer has misled people about the wii u at the moment is a bit too soon. We know certain features of the wii u graphics are better but overall we don't know. It may be that the wii u can do higher resolutions better and anti-aliasing etc but has a lower polygon count or texturing ability. Its unfair to judge them yet. I've seen 3DS images on the Eurogamer site clearly from development machines as they are well above the normal 400x240 resolution and yet show no aliasing etc. Eurogamer have not pointed this out and so it gives a misleadingly positive impression of 3DS graphics. That could be said to be a positive Nintendo bias.

Except they all gave the same reasons, they didnt have the time, or grasp of the new hardware. Why is it you always leave that out?

The first 360 madden game was missing 90% of the features the xbox and ps2 versions had. (something the DEVELOPERS brought up in the interview your heavily skewed information came from).

Does that mean the 360 was weaker in some areas than the xbox/ps2?

No, thats stupid. Just like this.

No, it means they didnt have the time to do it for that version.

Do you have a link for that as a 90% feature loss sounds pretty high. Almost like they walk on to the pitch throw the ball and then walk straight off again and the game ends. I don't remember any games on 360 that weren't enhanced versions of the xbox/ps2 games that were also available for it but then I'm in the UK and Madden wouldn't really be very popular over here. I guess it may be the same as Fifa where the wii u version has got some new features but they have taken away many of the features of the ps3/360.

As it stands we don't know if this will be a consistent trend or not throughout the wii u's life. Even if there is no technical reason for doing so it may be that publishers want to make the wii u version inferior to other versions simply because they prefer selling games on ps3 or 360. Many publishers did some truly abysmal wii games that you couldn't just put down to technical differences but that said I still think wii u cpu limitations are possible because of the various reports from developers and I see little point in simply dismissing those reports because they are undesirable especially as game code is much more portable now.

That EA Mass Effect Trilogy launch just as wii u just gets Mass Effect 3 is surely a kick in the face to Nintendo by EA. It shows EA either want to damage the wii u launch or simply don't care if they do.

Madden 06 ign review.

Missing in Action
After your head stops buzzing with excitement
over the gorgeous graphics, animations, and
atmosphere, a harsh reality comes to light about
Madden 06 on the Xbox 360: there are missing
features. When Madden 06 first loads up and
you're looking at the aforementioned great-
looking cutscene, none of this is immediately
apparent. Everyone's first inclination is probably
to just hop into a quick game and bathe in the
next-gen beauty. But as that game is played, the
holes start to pop up.
Here's a rough scenario: you pass to your
receiver near the sideline. He jumps up to catch
it, comes down, and gets pushed out of bounds.
You don't get the yards. It looked to you as if he
came down on the field with both feet in bounds
before he got pushed. So, as you would do in the
current-gen Madden game, you hit pause and go
to challenge the play. The only thing is, there's
no challenge option.

(Clearly, this is because the 360's cpu is just weaker than the ps2's and couldnt handle this ai simulation.)

Features got cut in Madden NFL 06 for the Xbox
360.

There's more missing than just call challenging.
All the mini-camp games are gone.

This also means no
online mini-games to toy with when you want a
break from the longer football games.

Additionally, pre-snap defensive playmaker
controls have been scaled back. In previous
titles, if you saw an opportunity to send one of
your guys on an individual blitz, you could select
and re-assign him on the fly to exploit your
discovery. Well, that feature didn't make it into
this version of Madden either.

(More proof the 360's cpu just doesnt stack up against the ps2's)

Also consider the
fact that Owner Mode is gone as well, and things
start looking a little bleaker.

Advancements made in previous titles in the
series -- the less fancy, current gen versions of
Madden -- didn't make it into this next
generation version of the game. That's
disappointing.

(must be because the 360 only has graphics superior to the ps2. Its cpu just cant support all those features. After, all, it couldnt POSSIBLY be anything else? Right?)

If you want Madden 06 with all the bells and
whistles then stick with the regular version of the game.

Ouch.

They simplified the game options but its still massively enhanced with far superior visuals on 360. Its pointless making childish sarcastic comments when there is a lot of articles about weaknesses with the wii u cpu.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-09-21-a-chat-about-the-power-of-the-wii-u-with-the-developer-of-a-wii-u-launch-title

There is no evidence anywhere currently that the wii u has a more powerful cpu than current gen 360 and PS3 but there are reports that it is weaker.

I don't want the wii u cpu to be weaker but I see little point in pretending it isn't if that is what is being widely reported. If developers are admitting the wii u cpu is weak and actual games are showing some cpu weaknesses then realistically thats likely to be the reality. When the 360 and PS3 came out they showed a huge improvement over ps2, gamecube and xbox. Suddenly we had high resolution and a far greater number of polygons and texturing on screen. Visual effects were improved and it was a world apart. Even Madden showed fantastic visual improvement on 360. I don't get this fanboy need to defend the wii u. Why not debate the information that has been reported in a sane and realistic way. We don't need to be paranoid claiming journalists are Nintendo's enemies. They are simply trying to report the correct information in a way that gets people to visit their site. They won't want to claim the wii u cpu is weak if its not.

You are going around in circles now. Ignoring points that are inconvient, and twisting words to create fictional points you think you can rebuke.

You are done, you have nothing but your baseless bias.

Every bullcrap non example you have has a counterpart on some other system.

From the 360 madden missing the ps2 games snap decision and challenge ai's, to ninja gaiden 3 having superior ai and limb removal systems missing from ps3/360 games.

Yet you pretend this was never brought up. You minimize the issue that crippled the 360 version of the game so bad that every damn review told people to get the ps2/xbox version for the real game into just 'sime missing features" and then quickly ignore it.

You flip flop INSTANTLY from talking about the cpu, to improvements made to the gpu for 360.

The bullcrap stops here. Im not beating around the bush anymore.

So tell me, why are cpu demanding tasks that are NOT in the ps360 game, improved ai and limb removal animations and physics plastered as bullet points all over the wii u ninja gaiden page?

ANSWER THIS.

Good luck weaseling out of this one.
