Figured this would be a good place to post this for those trying to convince their gamestops to host a midnight and a fun info find for all. So is your gamestop hosting a midnight.
Post its location and yes or no

I doubt it. They didn't even do one for the 3DS. Our mall wouldn't let them.

As I've always said, I'll be there whether or not they are having a midnite launch. I am dead serious, I am not running out of Wii U's like my GameStop did with the Wii when It launched, plus I'm in Toronto so it's gonna be crowded

I just asked the one guy today answer he said since It's a Sunday, they will most likely do an early open...like 8am ...instead of a midnight release...but again he was just guessing.

Here in Syracuse the one I go to said no,there opening at 10 instead of 11 o'clock.

See im not sure what gamestop is going to do but when the wii was released it was a midnight release where i live and that was a sunday. I asked the manager at my store where I live and they stated that if enough people ask for it

Guessing it's just gonna vary by Store. I would assume a Store would do one if they had a high enough demand (Pre-orders) for the Wii U. I know my local GameStop did one and the store itself is pretty small.
As usual though, they'll have the stores listed on their website for the ones that are doing a Midnight launch.

I'm hoping Best Buy does a Midnight release...If the weather is anything like it has been here I'm gonna be freezing my butt off. XD

Basically this for me.

If it is a midnight release, I'll definitely be there. Otherwise...I dunno if they'd open early or not. May have to skip church for one day so I can get it. xP

I'll be there whenever they open as long as my system is guaranteed (I did pre-order). I'm not going to wait even an hour unless I know I'm picking it up.

If/When is Nintendo World holding theirs'? I pre-ordered down there because I wantec to see how much of a madhouse it wil be.

Considering it's a Nintendo owned and themed store, chances are they'll have a midnight launch. As for the amount of people, I can't guess how many. But considering it's in New York at night, expect a lot of people.

As for my GameStop, they said they're having a midnight launch. All the employees I've met are Nintendo fans, so they're excited for it too. I'm probably going to leave at 5:00PM to get there by 5:30PM. Never can be too careful. It's going to be a busy weekend for me. In addition to the Wii U midnight launch, I plan to visit Shadocon on the 16th and the morning of the 17th ( a comic book, anime, gaming expo in the Tampa Bay area). At least I'm on Thanksgiving break so I can just play my Wii U all week long.
