Gamestop is having a deal that ends on the 21st of this month. You get 2xs the in store credit when you trade in either a Wii, Xbox, PS3, 3DS. I wanna get some more Wii U games such as 007 Legends, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, and maybe eShop points. I wanna know if I should sell my Xbox 360 for some more money for games. I like the Xbox 360 but its the first model, crashes sometimes, and might get the RROD someday. Even if i dont sell it, ill shun it cause of all the time i spend on my Wii U. But all of my friends have Xbox'es but i dont really talk to them. Should I sell xbox for games, or save up and keep xbox? YOU CHOOSE FOR THIS ONE!

If you don't use it now, and won't use it in the future (and if there is frequent malfunctions)... There's no use keeping it... You'll also have to consider the fact that GameStop won't give you a fair amount of money for the console. I would guess not even enough for a single Wii U game.

Shortly after the Wii released, I asked my GameStop how much they would give me for my GameCube, and they said $10. (Just an example on how GameStop rips people off on their trade-in offers.)

I'm assuming TC means that you pay half for all your goods if you happen to sell the console in the same transaction. At least what I'm getting from reading it.

If you normally got 50 for it you would get 100 for it with the deal that's going on right now. My friend got 120 for his Wii a couple months ago. Older models are worth less though so you still might not get much for it.

If you don't see yourself using it in the future then sell it. I plan on selling my Wii soon as well seeing as how I don't use it anymore...Well, except for Netflix but Wii U has that so no need to frown!

Well they'll probably give you approximately 62 cents, id keep my 360 if i were you, pick up portal 2 and dishonored,thatll keep you occupied for awhile

Meh bought to many games for my Xbox to just sell it, but I am going to sell my wii to a family friend

Well with every point you brought up to keep it you brought up another to negate it, so you're left with reasons to sell and no reasons to keep.
Take advantage of the bonus while you can. When it gets closer to launch I won't be surprised if they drop the worth of all the systems. Just play games on something else until the Wii U releases, won't be too long.

If you reread your post then you will get your answer, you didn't mention one reason to keep the xbox360 so it seems like a given to just sell it to get a wii u.

Was hoping to fully replace my 360 with the Wii U,however since then I have become sceptical about bf 3 or 4.Also now warfighter appearing on Wii U.I primariy play fps so have decided to keep both consoles

Well...My xbox 360 has aready gone. i am only playing monster hunter Tri on my Wii at the moment.

Since you mentioned it crashes couple of times then it would be better to sell/trade in the console. And save some money and get Xbox 360 slim in the near future.
