To those who were getting their hopes up for a great bond experience.... Sorry. It seems like they took some Liberties with the Bond licence, and not in a good way. Waiting for the Meta critic score...but so far all the current reviews are pretty horrible. Here is IGN's review to get you started.

It's a shame that on Bond's 50th anniversary, it gets a crap game.

Its a shame but not a surprise... haven't had a good bond game since Golden Eye 007 on N64... man that was an excellent game

The ones on the PS2 were good. I haven't played GoldenEye.Its a shame but not a surprise... haven't had a good bond game since Golden Eye 007 on N64... man that was an excellent game

The ones on the PS2 were good. I haven't played GoldenEye.
If you do, it would be a step to play the original, then play the Wii/PS3/360 remake. Either way, it's a great game.

Actually, if you'd even bothered to read the review, it had many more issues past graphics.
- Didn't get original voice actors, or people who even sounded remotely close to the original ones
- Sloppy driving mechanics
- Took way too many liberties with the movies
- Boss fights were turned into a garbled mess tied up with Punch-Out!! and a quick-time event

Goldeneye 64 will the best game imo of the james bond series.

If only Nintendo still owned Rare, and THEY were allowed to create Bond games. There would be our exclusive shooter.There hasn't been a decent Bond experience since the PS2 days. If only EA still owned the Bond franchise.

If they were still with Nintendo, they would've gone down the same path: they lost everyone worth having that didn't leave after Goldeneye after Conkers Bad Fur Day.
