pach*

In this latest edition of Pach-Attack, Pachter predicts that the PS4 and Xbox 720 could likely be 400$ and/or be 99$ with a subscription plan, similar to what Microsoft is doing with the 360.

He also says that if this does happen, the Wii U wouldn't be able to keep up with that kind of offer.

Oh my god! can you notice it? all his thinking and predictions are based around how can nintendo die and fail towards the competition LOL, i cant stop laughting

Because we all know how many times Pachter has been right on his predictions.

Pokedex entry: Mewtwo: The butt pokemon. It is really sexy and any pokemon that sees it wants to have sex with it. It's power comes from it's butt.

He's an industry analyst, speculating of possible strategies that companies may use is part of his job. It has nothing to do with his personal feelings towards Nintendo.

This statement is false. The previous statement is true.

RIP in peace Nintendo.

What crap like this?

Oh no, its totally for riling opposing fanboys and generating clicks. I wouldnt call it personal feelings, as its very much business, but hes definately singling nintendo out though, having angry nintendo fanboys pick apart his poor logic and nintendo hating fans fighting them tooth and nail is like an ad revenue orgy everytime he does it.

As far as his actual work as an industry analyst
Its completely different from the things he announces publicly. Which makes sense, why would an analyst give away the things people pay him thousands of dollars a report for, for free over the internet? Well, he wouldnt.

Mainly because it's easy too hit Nintendo off. Nintendo haven't proven anything to the general "core" gamer, so it's a tough sell to those so called "core" gamers that in fact are casual and see Nintendo as a kids platform.

Nintendo has to prove that it's for the core gamer, Nintendo sort of did it with the gamecube by pushing out a lot of core Nintendo franchises and certain 3rd party games, however they never had GTA on their platform, they only had MGS twin snakes, which both GTA and MGS were big franchises in that generation and were both on PS2 and Xbox.

I'm a Nintendo fan and everything but even I can see where it's hard for Nintendo to sell this back to the demographic that I've mentioned, which are majority of PS3, PC and 360 gamers.

That's true, but I think it's possible. I don't believe in the Nintendo bias conspiracy, where game devs just hate Nintendo. The Gamecube had discs with limited disc storage, but it had everything the other consoles had. So it got some games but not all. The Wii had limited disc storage, weak hardware, weird controls, and odd architecture. The Wii U solves all of these issues.

It solved issues with hardware but we are yet to see if it solved issues with its market appeal that turned devs away from the Wii and has devs skeptical of the Wii U at this point in time.
