He's sort of a loser-pothead now though so I'm glad it never went anywhere.

She never mentioned it, though, ever since that day we became good friends.

Focusing on things that are not girls makes life way better.

Gosh... is there any happy crush stories here lol.
Well, do you have a happy one? I've had one, it just wasn't my first one.

After the dance, we all went to this diner in our town, and there's a skill crane close to the entrance. After eating, I went to the crane and won a stuffed fish. Having no real need for a stuffed marine animal, I decided I would give it to her. As the next school day came up, I anxiously walked up to her desk holding the fish, going over what I would say to her in my head. Instead, as soon as I got to her desk, my brain shorted out and I slammed the fish on her desk, uttering only three words:
"HAVE A FISH."
I then walked away, feeling embarassed and idiotic. Possibly one of the worst experiences of my entire life. Thankfully, I've gotten over it and even laugh about it myself now-a-days. Happily in a relationship, and the fish incident is long behind me.

"HAVE A FISH."
No offense to your once tragic crush story, but this line is full of win.
I can't explain it. It just IS. Maybe it's just because I'm tired at 1 AM here...
But, whatever, thanks for sharing your story, made my... Uhh... Morning!
~~~
My first crush, because I just realized I haven't stated it, was from grade 7... Or was it 8? Meh, whatever.
Anyway... Nothing ever came from it. Ever. Outside of group projects we didn't even talk, and I never told anyone.
It just sort of went away after awhile. After all, it was only a crush, and I never acted on it.
On the other hand, to tell something more interesting, it wasn't until grade 9 when I even tried to socialize with classmates who weren't already my friend (I'm MUCH better know, though). I used to think it was just shyness, but I know think I might have (or had) a Personality Disorder... Well, either way, I didn't like talking to people I didn't know, and I would usually assume the worst intentions...
Sadly, I just recently found out that I'm apparently (mostly) 'Good Looking' or something... And looking back there are a few times in which I felt I was being teased by girls when I could have very well been crushed on... And I feel pretty bad, as I could have unintentionally hurt some little girl's feelings while trying to protect my own...
So, while I myself don't have any interesting crush stories, I'm probably the cause of many XD... I just hope that they're laughing about it now T.T
EDIT: Fixed up some grammer
"HAVE A FISH."
LMAO!!! I laughed at that until I was crying!! xD LOL!!!
Anyway, hmmm... my first crush... well, I think it was when I in reception, but I don't remember much of it :/
I had a crush on a girl just before I went to secondary school, and after about a month, I found out that my best friend also had a crush on her. Everyone knew, as he always tried to talk to her, and he was always trying to impress her with stupid things. Well, I had a talk with him and everything was ok (but that didn't stop the problem of it being obvious that he liked her). Everyone would talk about it behind his back and I would defend him, only me and him knowing that I liked her too.
Of course I never made a move, neither did my friend, we were too young and stupid back then xD
