So I was just in line waiting to get my number for Black Ops 2 (36 btw) and the GameStop cashier saw my AC3 on Pre order and asked if I was coming to the midnight launch. I asked if he was serious and said yeah!
I told him that'll be there all day waiting for my number! Lol I'm dead serious on that one

I don't think this is all of them - on yesterday my local Gamestop said it definitely wasn't doing a midnight launch. I'm calling on friday to verify again though.

I hope my local GAME does a midnight launch for Wii U, but we hardly get midnight launches for systems over here for security reasons

The GS where I preordered it is not doing one as it wasnt a big alotment for his store and all his consoles are sold out through preorder. Thank God for preordering.

My gamestop also confirmed there is NOT going to be a midnight launch due to safety reasons. But they are opening at 10am Sunday morning.

My store has been telling me tons of things. First yes, then no, then " we're not sure", then finally I was able to speak to the manager and he said he'd do the midnight launch regardless of corporate allowing him to. But today I was told " we're not sure", but I don't remember what the manager looked like. So I'n not sure, but I'm putting bets on the manager I talked to last week.

Already have confirmation that my gamestop in NJ will not be having a midnight launch. Not too big of a deal. but i would have been there if they did.

The Gamestop I was at today said they weren't even opening early because "every Gamestop around here only has 4-5 preorders". And the Gamestop where I have mine pre-ordered said they had 15. No idea what to believe at this point, but you'd think they would know the week of, right?

Mine said they got 15 preorders. So no reason to be around for a couple hours.
I think if stores had about 20 preorders and 20 consoles available first come first serve on launch day I think there would have been midnight launches

I picked up AC3 today. I would of gotten it last night with the cod bo2 midnight lunch, but there shipment didnt make it in untill 4pm today.
Ask him about a midnight launch for the wii u system and thats a no.
He said to call Saturday night and see what time they will open sunday. He said it will either be 9am or 10am. but for sure no midnight

My local gamestop isn't having one. The dude working there said that they might open an hour earlier or something, but no midnight launch.
