X-sourapple-x hahahahaha ur funny with ur statement!! Its good nintendo fan sites to know, what customers believe! With ur gardening and charity programs, u dont help at all!!... I am against charities, I could explain you why, if you want me to.

Not all charities are profitable, you just have to find the right one, like small local charities that do work for local kids and stuff. You're just making excuses now. I even gave you other examples of what you could do with your spare time

my time is filled man, i cant help it... As for wii U, then I will wait, for as long as it takes, no problem with that... But many people speak, even the strongest allys of Nintendo (ubisoft), that wii U is expensive... I can give you the link and its rare for ubisoft to say such a think... I read it 2 days ago.

Either ways, I would never work free as a volunteer that "a company" gets it through “donations” from sponsors (if not from individuals), or I never give charities (money) to a company that uses the pain of other people, to get some bucks, even if this "company" is called USA government or EUROPEAN government, etc.. lol they are companies... even if the purpose seems pure, there is always dark behind it. I would suggest you, stop seeing "compassion" and help other people, as a pack, organized by others (sheep’s), I would suggest you to that individually and alone, with ur own efforts and powers. Thats what people need... Communication and not organization... Because you never know the one behind, who organizes stuff like it. So you basically do stuff in blind, you dont know "his goals".

Your time is not filled. You are full of poop. You have way too much time on your hand, otherwise you wouldn't come to a Wii U fan site, to explain why you won't get a Wii U. It's a total waste of your time, and it shows that you have a lot of time to waste.

Nintendo's main costs on a console is research and development of the custom components.
Add on another 200 euro to the price of a similar spec pc without monitor setup for a price they're likely paying.

Because you don't understand the concept of business Orion.

They have to pay for the factory, pay for the factory equipment, pay for the workers, pay for the plastic and all the bits that make up the console, pay for the patents, pay for advertising, have money for themselves, AND make money on the product.

It is very much necessary to remember that Nintendo has had Wii U in development for about three years, if not longer. That includes salaries of a research and development staff for three years, in addition to prototype manufacturing (each prototype can cost anywhere from $2000 to $100,000, believe it or not), design, software development, and testing.

Then there's actually building the Wii U itself and hoping to make some money on it.

I won't be getting a Wii U at launch either as I am trying to avoid the inevitable "defect models" that come with the launch of new hardware. I'm aware that this means that I possibly won't be getting one for a while ala the Wii, but its a risk I'm willing to take. I get quite attached to moy first purchases, so I want to make sure my first Wii U is my last.

Another reason is simply not enough games to warrant a purchase (like Pikmin 3) as well as price point, which is out of my budget for the time being.

Hope the best for all you day 1 launch buyers. I would be delighted if the defect ratio was a low as the gamecube if possible.

Definitely me. I'm used to getting the latest Nintendo console 1-2 years after it's been released, so no biggie for me. :x

I gave you an example of the best (but cheap) amd model FX8350 (I am not an amd fun) and its comparable with an i5 2500k And you speak about similar? we dont compare, we speak about similarities... with 200 extra euro u can add a low end graphic card but enough of playing at 60 fps the current games and a monitor...

In my console history, the only consoles I bought almost at released date (few months after) are ps1 - gamecube and 360 and lots of game boys (classic, color, sp, ds).... I bought wii 3 years after! It was a nice bundle (mario kart with the weel and wii sports and 2 controllers)

Its a nightmare, baby flues (thats how we call them)... You dont want that. It happens the last years in the pc, all the time, motherboards, cpus, gpus... So we always buy few months after. If you want to avoid baby flues, 4 to 6 months is more than enough... Some problems are kept silent, eg (intel 3960x cpu the most expensive) it was faulty all along and intel silenced it.... (an example) They fixed it silently 5 months after (rev2), also xbox 360 if you remember, but this virus kept it down for about 2-3 years???? I have the most bad experience from that.. (red ring of death)

The features being added after manufacturing was logical.

Nintendo has never been so ambitious, nor moved so quickly to fulfill such grand ambition.

Even their best prepared gant chart couldn't have ensured everything being done by shipping time from Foxconn.

There will likely be a couple more updates by March next year.

That is when my little sister will get one for her birthday.

This system is awesome. Can't wait to see what Nintendo and third party publishers announce at E3. It's going to be good.
