First off, this is going to be kinda corny, so if you don't want to read something like that, get out now.

None of this was ever supposed to happen. Never before have I stuck with a forum for more than 2 days, so when I had reached a week on here I knew something was up. As time went on I slowly started to realize that I was in love with this place, and the people who frequent this site. So when I finally reached 999 posts the other day, I started thinking about how I wanted to use my 1000th post. After troubling over the answer for quite a while, (in fact, you may have noticed my significant lack of posts over the last couple of days) I came to the answer that I wanted to thank all of you for helping make signing up for this forum one of the best decisions I've made in a while. I think the reason that I love coming on this site every day has to do with the fact of how tightly knit the community is here. I often think of us as a small town community, with something like Neogaf, or 4Chan being the New York City's of the internet. While many of us complain about a lack of fresh new content by people, I've always liked the feeling of surprise I get when a new topic goes up, especially by someone that I talk to quite frequently. We didn't get this way by just having a small community, I think the inclusion of the chat feature also has a large roll to play in why I feel like I know everyone on here. Our inside jokes, fun random events that occur, and sometimes even the actual chats we have, are some of the most fun I have in a day, and it has become something I look forward to at the end of each day. Never when I first lied about reading the terms of the site did I think I'd be spending almost every night for the past 6 months talking and forming personal relationships with you people. I know some people on here better than I know other people in my real life circle of friends, and that speaks volumes about the kind of community here. Alright, I think I've prattled on about as far as I can go with still being able to articulate properly, so I'm going to call it here (even though there is more to say). All I really wanted to say is that, I've loved ever minute I've spent here, and wouldn't trade it for the world. You guys are stuck with me, whether or not you like it. I'm not leaving until I'm either dead or the only one left, so here's to another 1000 posts and tons of fun with everyone.
