IS nintendo ever going to issue a statement to all the people that got shafted with bad systems. My system comes tommorow and im praying to god I have no problems. Wit hthe system and 1 day shipping on evrything with games and controles im looking at 600 thats a lot of money to spend on something that you have to send in right away. I just pray to the video game gods my system will be ok.

Best case scenerio would be Nintendo issues a recall and pays for shipping to fix ssystems and overs an extra 1 year warranty like microsoft did. I left nintendo for a long time andd decided to come back cause of the wii u I hope after tommorow i dont regret my decision.

You have a good chance of not having any problems, except the 10-15sec "menu selection" delay problem. Here's to hoping they get that fixed asap.

I hope you have better luck than I did. I just wish they would have done something for me and all the other customers with issues, I mean a free game, or 25% off a new game, something to make up for it. That's what made me mad.

I agree 100% I hope putting my faith back in Nintendo was not a mistake, If it was Ima get a PS3 instead and save up for a PS4.

Was it like this for previous current gen consoles when they launched?
Hopefully Nintendo does the smart thing and include the update with the console as standard, that seems to be were the main problems are arising.

All i hear is whats on there facebook. It just say they are fixing the network.

when the next xbox and ps4 come out iwill not got them right away I will wait for now on I just hope tommorow when I get my system its perfect and works if it dosent iwill just call and get the label sent to me and send in for repair. I cant beleive peole are having system freezes to tha tis def not normal and a bad sighn. I remeber when the 360 did that and the ps3 shirtley after the system took a crap.

Is there any indication of what % of consoles are having problems? (Knock on wood) I made it through everything with no issues other than the lag in opening games/apps everyone is complaining about. And Miiverse gives me errors. But otherwise I've been fine through the system update and updates to both NSMBU and Black Ops 2.

Nintendo has a pretty good track record with this kind of stuff so I'm curious how many are having problems.

Most Wii Us are just fine. As for the defects I think Nintendo was already talking about fixing them. Hey at least it powers on unlike Xbox360.
