Hey guys first off I would just like to let you know my real name I think it's appropriate seeming as some of you are awesome friends, it's Peter Hemming, as you all know I was once an avid Xbox 360 player, I loved it played it nearly everyday, my favorite games were the Mass Effect Trillogy, TES V Skyrim, Deus Ex Human Revolution, GTA IV and DragonBall Raging Blast 2, I'd play online with my friends all the time, but then all my friends started leaving one by one and I was left with no-one, I was in a bit of a crap situation because my social anxietys made it hard to make new friends and most of the Xbox Live community are nasty trolls (not all of them but most of them), heck I struggled with my own family sometimes, It started after I lost my Mom, I just became a recluse, she was the only one that could ever push me to do my best nothing felt right without her, plus a lot of my real friends have moved on so I didn't speak to them anymore. My fiancee laura helps me all the time and I love her and honestly thank her for it, I'm still not quite there though yet but I'm slowly making progress. Anyway playing games started to become a chore, I had a very large back log as my games kept piling up I hardly used the thing anymore because I had no-one left to play with and depression had kicked in from me bieng jobless. A few months later my Xbox 360 went unused and I no longer cared for Microsoft anymore due to thier lack of exclusives, and the fact they can't seem to admit Kinect's failure, oh and thier subscription fees for EVERYTHING lol. I started looking for new ways to play games and I came across Wii U and it reminded me of all the fun I had with all the Nintendo consoles before the original Wii it just looked so awesome to me, so I did my research watched all the press confrences E3 in particular, watched all the Nintendo Directs and got myself UBER hyped, "so" I said to myself "whats next"? that's it you guessed it, I sold my Xbox 360 and closed all the accounts I had for anything to do with Microsoft. I then proceeded to Pre Order My Wii U Zombie U Bundle with Assassin's Creed 3, Scribblenauts Unlimited and Tank! Tank! Tank! There was still one problem though, MiiVerse, a SOCIAL interaction hub for all Wii U players, I had no friends in real life who would pick this system up so I knew I'd be on my own again and I would struggle to make new friends online, but then I remembered, every day I've been checking Wii U news I'd been going to this forum called thewiiu.com and from what I had seen it had been a very nice place. So for the next few days I observed you all (creepy) and I then decided to take the plunge on the 17 October 2012 and let me say this: "I am so happy I did, I will never look back your all such nice people and I can't wait to play online on the Wii U with all of you" And look where I am now, wow 1000 posts, you've all been great I can't thank you enough, you don't realise how much you have helped me in the real world and in the online one.
