I just wanted to post that, Nintendo is doing a good job as far as supply and demand is concerned. My best buy had 4 deluxe and 4 or 5 basic sets, unlike the the Wii where it was sold out for months. But will probably be sold out black friday....i mean black thursday.

In the US maybe, UK is gonna be a whole new kettle of fish, Wii U stock is expected to be very low here.

In Australia, I doubt it would get sold out at launch. Though as it nears Christmas it would most likely be very scarce, if not actually sold out.

Multiple Targets, Walmarts...etc in my area have plenty. Although, Gamestop has been sold out, of course. I think I'm still going to wait to buy mine. At least until I stop seeing hardware and software problems. I bought my first PS3 the day it was released, went through 3 of them before I got one that lasted longer than 2 months. It actually lasted 5 years, I just replaced it. Playstation replaced it for free. Can't wait to get my U though.

Don't forget that Wii demand was very limited only after Black Friday sales that year. The first few weeks was all about initial reception from gamers, but now that the console is out, once news media get hold of the story and put Wii U on all the holiday must have lists, you can bet supply will plummet.

I was on a waiting list in Las Vegas and they called me yesterday and had one deluxe system someone did not pick up. I have yet to open it because I have not decided if I will keep it. Walmart by me had three black systems sitting behind the glass at 1 am this morning with no lines,

Well, anyone in NYC, Nintendo World itself seems to be pretty good on supply... and a gamestop in the Bronx.. don't know many other places though, unfortunately. Just a heads up!

Can't find any consoles here in East KY...and if they do get them, it's 2-5 at a time and are gone as soon as they hit the floor. It's been madness trying to find one!!
