I am not going to lie...I never read manuals, i guess I should, but anyways, does the wii u have the automatic updates like the wii had?

Wii didn't have automatic updates.
It had updates on the disc which you had to do in order to play the game which came on the same disc.

If that's what you mean, I would bet it does, because the Wii, and 3DS do too.
However, there are no games yet with the 1.1(I'm assuming it's numbered 1.1) update on them.

We should have a Q&A section.

Wii didn't have automatic updates.
It had updates on the disc which you had to do in order to play the game which came on the same disc.


I think Ecorsbie is referring to the notification (via the blue light) that updates were available. The Wii lights up when something is ready to be downloaded and installed.

Wii U has spotpass, so like the 3DS, it's up to your region telling you about it.
