ZombiU looks good, but in the same time it looks like crap. '
I haven't played it yet so this is just what i think.
I love the horror aspects to it but it got some flaws from the look of it.
The graphics are crappy and the online is supposed to be bad. I also don't like how its so obvious where to go. They should have made it more freely.
What i don't get is why they didn't have co-op campaign. That would have added so much more hype into it.
But i'm still getting it. And if the first game turn up to be good, you bet there will be a second installment to the series

I'm gonna be honest here.

graphics aren't that bad, it has no online (except the tag mechanic and leaderboards) nor should it, obvious where to go? have you played old-school survival horror games like resident evil? it's all about giving you no space and sending you down creepy corridors. Co-op survival horror? so you can have someone watching your back? no thanks, these games are meant to be single player and I'm tired of the whole "everything needs to be online" nonsense.

I was hesitatant because of the reviews but after actually playing it for a while I think it's great. I don't like how many hits it takes to kill the zombie since there are normally like 3 attacking u. Other than that its a fun game
Hah, Thats the point, if you are taking on 3 at a time or more with a cricket bat, you done messed up.
And ive seen some BIG mess ups (someone set off a store alarm, and like, twenty zombies from all across the level converged on his position.)

The character models are horrible.graphics aren't that bad, it has no online (except the tag mechanic and leaderboards) nor should it, obvious where to go? have you played old-school survival horror games like resident evil? it's all about giving you no space and sending you down creepy corridors. You have your opinion and i have mine, none of them are correct.
Yes, in fact i have played every single Resident Evil game to date.
Resident Evil 1 was good at its release. But now, not so good. I'm getting bored after 1 hour or so.
"So you can have someone watching your back"
Yes. Why not? It makes pretty much everything so much better to have someone with you.
Sure, might not be as frightening, but is it better? I doubt it.
Everything does not have to be online. But it adds a ton of replayability since it adds tons of new things to do. And makes everything better.
If you don't like to have someone watching your back, then simply stop playing with others.
Can't get any simpler then that.

Sometimes, the graphics look simply amazing.
And the graphics are excellent.
But not a major leap.
Curiously, as far a textures are concerned, it appears ubisoft created some nice textures and then some very bland ones. Some close ups are just shameful.
I think it has much to do with the time left over after changing the games theme and hurrying development for launch.
As briskly as the U is selling combined with what seems to be an already successful launch of Zombi U , I imagine that we will be a sequel that is vastly improved.

I think this is going to do well. I know alot of people on here bought it, and if that is an indication of how it will do on a larger scale I think we can assume a sequel will be in the works.
Agreed, if someone didn't buy Mario, they bought ZombiU (or both) from most I spoke too.
