finally some happy news u_u!!!!!!!!!!! cant wait form my wiiu :(

http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/there-s-nothing-in-my-body-doubting-that-the-wii-u-will-be-successful-2k-president-admits/0106784?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+mcvuk%2Fstream+%28MCV%3A+Home+Stream%29

But there’s certainly no doubt from 2K Games president Christoph Hartmann who in an interview with MCV has expressed his unwavering belief in the power of Nintendo.

“Nintendo always impresses and surprises me,” he said. “The team there has so much knowledge built up over many, many years. Nintendo always finds its crowd."

“There have been people doubting the Wii U because they don’t really understand it. I wasn’t sure about the Wii and I was proved wrong, proved wrong by my own people, which I like the most because we sold a lot of Carnival Games. I believe the Wii U offers something special and we will be surprised how consumers will get attached.

“There’s nothing in my body, not a single piece, doubting that the Wii U will be successful.”

The Wii sold carnival games but he believes the Wii U offers something special.

They may be developing a core title.

Let's all stop for a few seconds and imagine Halo on the Wii U.

Never going to happen, but wow.

......Carnival Games......

Huhuhuhuhuh.

I'm sure the Wii U will be just as successful as the Wii was. The power of the console is very unimportant in reality. Especially when you put into consideration the comparison of the Wii's strength to the PS3/360's. Yes, I'm sure we're all aware that the Wii was extremely weak by that comparison. I mean, dude, it was practically the GameCube with motion controls. But did it sell? Absolutely. That's because regardless of their recent systems not being up to par to their competitors' abilities, Nintendo can still develop some genuinely fun games.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not proposing that Sony and Microsoft's games are complete garbage, but instead that Nintendo knows how to entertain their audience just as well as they can. They don't need to fall back on amazing processing speeds or graphics. All they need to do is keep us interested with their ideas and innovative ways of playing video games, which is exactly what they're continuing to do. I fail to understand why some of us "fans" feel the need to bash this new system for not being as strong as the PS3/360, and definitely not as much as the inevitable upcoming systems. I can guarantee that they'll eventually purchase a Wii U and love the living hell out of it anyways. Pff, I know I will.

Well, people were mentioning other games they wanted. And also, it's about how succesful the Wii U is going to be, what I was saying was; imagine how succesful it would be with halo.

Nobody is talking about games they want. We are talking about games by 2k, and Halo is made by Microsoft.

They're still games they want, and you ignored my other point.

By mentioning what was wrong repeatedly, you are derailing the thread off topic. Just mentioning this.

Any who, I'm happy to see some happy responses, especially from 2K. I could've done without the mention of Carnival Games, but it's really nice to see none the less. *can hear the cries for BioShock*
