I've had my Wii U since launch day and I am absolutely loving it. So far I have Zombi U, and Mario Bros. U. I have already decided on Darksiders 2, but I need some help deciding between Assassin's Creed 3 and Mass Effect 3. I have never played either series but they both look tempting :). I know that I will be late to the game with both titles, but I would like some opinions on both series. Thanks guys!

Get Assassin's Creed 3, I'm a big Mass Effect fan myself but I'm staying away from the Wii U version, EA really fudged it, wait for the inevitable Mass Effect Trilogy, Mass Effect is EA's cash cow, it's bound to come sometime :D

If you haven't played either series I'd say get ACIII for the Wii U and get the full mass effect series on PC.

Can I piggyback on this thread? I'm considering taking advantage of Toys R Us B1G1 40% Wii U games tomorrow, could use some advice.

I already have ZombiU, Nintendo Land, Black Ops 2 and NSMBU.

Darksiders 2, for me as well, is 1 of the two for sure. I already own Mass Effect 3 on the 360, already beat Arkham City and not a huge fighting game fan (Tekken is out), so here are the other games I'm considering.

- Epic Mickey 2
- Ninja Gaiden 3
- Warriors Orochi 3
- Sonic Racing (good on the Gamepad?)
- And...what exactly is Scribblenauts, a kids game?

Thoughts? Or should I just wait, play what i have and wait for Darksiders 2 to come down to $40 or so.

You have chosen wisely.

- Ninja Gaiden 3
- Warriors Orochi 3
- Sonic Racing (good on the Gamepad?)

Apparently Epic Mickey 2 is bad on the Wii U. Could possibly patch it up, but it's still bad.
Ninja Gaiden 3 is a tune up from it's PS3/Xbox360 versions, but still not up there.
Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper is very niche. If you've played previous Warriors games and loved them, then you'll love it too.
Sonic Racing is supposedly equal to or better on the Wii U than PS3/Xbox360, and for that reason alone I highly suggest this of the 5.
Scribblenauts Unlimited is basically a game where you type in a word, and it appears as a usable object in game. If I remember correctly, you'd have to try and reach a star or something like that in the first game by typing in the words of an object, then using it e.g. type 'ladder', get ladder, climb ladder, get star.

I was originally tossing up between Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper and Sonic Racing Transformed, but I've just decided to buy both, save myself from pain.

Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

Get Assassins Creed 3, that is a no doubter! :D

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I don't think I've played any other Warriors Orochi games...I played and loved Ninety Nine Nights 2 and was lukewarm to Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes...

I might just wait it out, I have enough to play at the moment.

You're right that you have enough to play. :) Honestly it's only worth buying something right now if you were to take advantage of sales. I agree that Sonic would've probably been the best choice though.

Eh, I was thinking more Dynasty Warriors, or Samurai Warriors. Loved SW Chronicles, sad to sell it today, but hey, that trade in money went straight into Orochi 3 Hyper.

And I think I have too much to play. Too much. 8 games and possibly more, anyone?

I was thinking of getting ME3 on the U until I played AC2 (my first AC game, got it for $5 bucks on steam sale) and god, would that have been the biggest mistake of my life..

AC3 all the way.
