I'll just put a screen protector in the off chance the included stylus is sharp. (Happened with the DSi line). If you know how to apply them they don't look tacky.
Probably won't buy a case. I'll just leave it in a safe place.

That ones better but its still cheap and tacky with those ridges.

I seriously wouldn't pay more than £10 to keep a pad in a 'pouch', in a cupboard. It's going to keep dust off the screen and out of the buttons. It's a no brainier when you think about it.

I had a similar case for my ipad - which looks like it did day 1. They're deffo better than the like of gel cases, nerf case that actually act like dust magnets.

Well personally for me regardless of where its going to be kept the case still needs to look good and be of good quality. I would rather get a decent simple neoprene case then that.

This looks quite neat. http://www.play.com/...ingDetails.html Don't know if it would make the pad bulkier though.

I guess... but it also does take away from the nice sleekness of the gamepad.

I guess. I am getting it to help reduce those finger prints though! :P

I will probably get a nice case for it eventually, for trips to friends houses. Because just keeping it in my bag loose is bad for the analogs and shoulder buttons. But while I am at home my gamepad is fine. I keep it on a middle shelf so it never gets dust on it while on it's stand.

They don't bug me as much as they do on 3DS... I think I won't buy anything for it besides maybe a screen protector because I like the way my gamepad is, plus it's not like I'm going to take it anywhere. Lol.

Add me on Wii U if you want to settle it in Smash

They show an oily streak when your fingers have been on them. I have an iPhone 5..I hate screen protectors..but having spent £600 I thought I'd get 1..coz I hate scratches aswel lol. Anyway..even though the screen protector I have is the gurilaglas..you can't see it, but you see te oily marks..which without a protector on you don't see. It's an OCD thing I guess coz the oily mark does wipe off..it's just annoying. Eventually ill take it off my iPhone..but then, it's good as its In my pocket.

The gamepad does not need 1, if you keep it in a pouch type case it's well covere when not in use, when your playing..it's just in your hands being played with as it was meant to.

I just think cases in general are tacky, but then we do hate scratching our new devices..

I got a hard case from Target along with a screen protector. Loving it because it's licensed by Nintendo.

Got mine in the clear protective shell from Rocketfish with the screen protector over the screen and it works out fine for me.

Just because you can't see them unless up close doesn't change the fact they are tacky. If you like them fine but personally I don't and don't need them as I look after my devices.

if you look after the pad you should not need a case to put it in, ok maybe a screen protector like the one you get on phones but that is all.
