I have a Denon home theatre unit. I run all of my devices (including the Wii U) through it and then run a single output to the TV. Because of this when I try to use the "TV" remote function on the gamepad I still have to change the device output on the home theatre manually.
Does anyone know if there is a way to do this all on the gamepad? If not, does anyone know if Nintendo is looking at supporting this in the future?

Unless Denon is a setup option when you look for TV brands in the game pad setup or you know a TV manufacturer that uses the same coding as the Denon your out of luck. I'm not sure anyone knows if they will have support for receiver control in the future.

When i was setting up my remote it asked me if i wanted to set up a tv or a dvr/other.
Maybe if you try dvr/other.
