Okay this is a bit difficult for me to explain... but after moving my Wii-U to the livingroom to watch a movie with my mom, the Game Pad began acting odd. It asked to move it closer to the system. After reseting both systems and making sure the gamepad had a decent amount of battery life, I finally tried to re sync it. What followed completely baffeled me. Instead of the usual suit symbols needed to type into the game pad, the screen displayed what I can only guess was all four symbols at once in all four spots. The symbols were overlapping each other creating malformed flower symbols. I have been unable to find any similar cases online so I'm unsure what I can do to fix it.

Call Nintendo.

Personal Tip: Don't mention you moved it.

You'll only need to send the GamePad in to Nintendo. It's a GamePad only problem, but they might ask you for the console anyway. Who knows.

Also, like Nollog said, don't tell them anything you did caused it.

But before you do, double check all connections and then hook it up to the old tv again to see if it returns to normal.
