The issue is though that Nintendo cannot rely on it's first party titles much longer, once we have had Mario U, Zelda U, Pikmin U, Metriod U& Mario kart U what is left for Nintendo & more importantly us gamers ?

I have had all the Nintendo consoles since the NES & i love Nintendo & their games, but i simply won't buy a console anymore for a few games over the consoles life, most of the titles i have mentioned are some of the best games of the generation, but you also get great Platform, RPG Strategy, FPS & racing games on Sony & Microsofts consoles plus many many other titles.

The Wii U multi-platform games need to be better than the PS3/X360 counterparts to draw people away from their PS3's & X360's do not forget lots of games are multi-player now & the Nintendo system is pretty poor, so if there are not enough people playing Call Of Duty Black Opps 2 on the Wii U will people buy a game for a Wii U if they can play with more people on their PS3/X360 ?

If the Wii U fails me then i would be buying the next Nintendo console for sometime after it's release if at all.

I have said the Wii U needs games & it needs games along the lines of GTA V & not six or eight months after it's released on the PS3/X360 either, most games coming out for the Wii U are out on the PS3/X360 before hand like Tomb Raider 2013 for example, so what will people who own a Wii U & either a PS3/X360 do they will buy it on that instead because that is what i will do, also the games are cheaper on the PS3/X360 to.

Nintendo need to do more & do it fast !

I think you need to give it some time. At this point, 3rd party support is there, and hopefully will grow. Past experience has taught us that we shouldn't judge a console based on its specs or how its launch titles looked.

You are also forgetting one gamechanger: the gamepad. Once developers find novel ways to utilize it, the Wii U would have a clear advantage over the competition (present & future). Unless .. you know .. they copy it .. which almost always happen.

Such lack of faith with from all you "Nintendo Fans" . They know what they are doing, this is why gaming now a days isn't like it used to be. People seem to have no real allegiance anymore and jump boat soon as the more "powerful" system comes out. Graphics and raw power don't win console wars, game libraries do. The Wii succeeded with that it set out to do - capture the casual crowed, and now the Wii U is going to succeed with what it plans to do - get core gamers and casual gamers on one machine. Take RPG's for instance - arguably 2 of the best of this past gen are The Last Story and Xenoblade Chronicles - they looked gorgeous on the Wii and were far more fun than half the other RPG's on other consoles. Nintendo will get developers on board and we will see a great system in the Wii U. Those of you already talking about regretting purchasing and jumping ship when the powerful 720/ps4 launch - go right a head - read Nintendo fans will still be here on the forums enjoying the best gaming has to offer .

you'd be surprised to know that a lot of non-nintendo fans join these kind of Nintendo oriented pages *takes a look at 3ds forums for example*

I am not supporting any of the Big 3, but this is seriously has become an annoying topic. It seems like it is cool to post bad things about Wii U and even trying their best to convince people as to why the console is bad or not next generation console.

Look, I don't expect all 3rd party titles on Wii U nor do I expect it to be MORE powerful than the next PS or Xbox, because I will be getting the next PS and Xbox. What I care is that there are games that I wanted to play, that's all that matters to me.

If you don't have money on your own, then get a job, that's how I paid my gaming stuff (from older consoles & handhelds to PC, PS Vita, PSP, PS3, 360, 3DS, Wii, DS and Wii U). If you're relying on your parents to buy you games (Unless you're a minor), then too bad.

I know, and it boggles my mind why ...nevermind...it doesn't ... I only actively post on a few forums because most become a place to whine insistently

These CPU threads are getting out of hand. If anybody happens to see any more threads discussing the CPU and is similar to the one before, report them.
I'm getting sick of deja vu.
