So, what's your favorite book genre? Mine would have to be science fiction. I just like how things work in it, bringing ideas never thought of, technology no one could make. I also like when they make muiltiuniverses and bittersweet endings. :D

My favourite genres are probably fantasy and mystery. I always feel clever if I can work out the mystery before getting to that stage in the book. I like some horror books too, but it's not my favourite genre.

I used to read Goosebumps and other R.L Stine books all the time, so mine would be horror.

You forgot fantasy in the poll :D.

If you can't tell, that's my favourite genre (thing is the only fantasy in my school library is all really hardcore, and I hate that sort of fantasy).
Anyways, I'll also happily sit down with a milkshake and a romance or horror book.

Fantasy's not on the poll? :D

I don't really have a favourite genre so I went for drama, as I like a story to have some drama in it. If I had to choose I would choose fantasy, Harry Potter, LoTR, Eragon, Firebrand etc

wodabout adventure!? I would say my facourite is a mix between fanatsy and adventure. I'll list some books I've read so you can get an idea:

Alex Rider (Whole series)
The Power of Five (Whole Series, when is the last book coming out!?)
Artemis Fowl (Whole Series)
Percy Jackson (Whole Series)
This series about about a guy called Torak who meets a wolf and he has to defeat all the evil people who killed his father. I can't remember what its called :/
Cherub (Whole Series)
Cherub, like how it started, I can't remember what they call that series either :/
This series about clay dragons that turn into real dragons and stuff (EPIC SERIES!!!)

Thats just some of what I've read xD, I read a lot :D

Mine's fantasy. No action, suspense, or sci-fi book can beat that....

I beg to differ. Not if you mix fantasy and sci fi at the same time

Well, that's a different story, as you do have a point there.
In this thread it's about one genre beating all others. If this would be about mixed genres, then it's a whole different story.

Yeeaah!

I don't mind reading fantasy, but I don't like reading long books. I like short ones.
