...Sephiroth
Seriously, though, the best VG villain would have to be... Crazy hand, Hands down! (Get it? HAND! XD)
Definitely my favorite boss. Plus, unlike most villains, he works well with others (You know... The left hand... The masterful one...)

Master Hand. does he actually count as a villain? he is the main boss in SSBB.
He does count because he was a boss in Kirby and the Amazing mirror as well.
I think Bowser or Sephiroth are the best villains. They are vastly different but I love to hate them as villains for different reasons.

Now, as for Count Bleck, I'd rather not spoil the ending of Super Paper Mario for you guys...just play the game and see for yourself.

It's like calling Mario Kart a Super Mario game
I honestly did love PM: Thousand Year door, and it just wouldn't feel right playing a platformer of what should be an RPG
As for greatest villain, I've given it some more thought... And I'm changing my opinion from Master Hand to Ramirez, from Skies of Arcadia, the arguably best RPG in existence. (Sorry Final Fantsy 6/7 fans :S)
He has some of the most awesome moves, is the best type of insane and isn't afraid to curb-stomp the entire party. Gah, if there were spoiler tags, I would go into so much detail...

Added to the to-do list, thanks. You should've mentioned it in the BBCode suggestions thread.
Now, Super Paper Mario is a great game in its own right. The art style and humour is just about all it has in common with the other Paper Mario games. Get over that, and you're in for one hell of a ride. It has one of the most meticulously crafted and emotionally stirring stories I've ever seen come out of Nintendo...

Also, when I heard GLaDOS in Portal, I definitely fell in love with her constant teasing. Those who know me should remember how much I love verbal manipulation (irony, reverse psychology, etc).
These are my dragon persona Darren's parents. Or Darrents, if you will.

Games that refuse to use Gameplay effectively to do anything are like films that refuse to use cinematography in film to do anything.

The lack of a Mother fanbase here is disgusting.
