Couldn't you possibly stop the download and start it over from the beginning again?

Did you try unplugging the console itself and plugging it back in? It could be your internet connection.

Unplug the Wii U for a few minutes from the power cable. After 120-330 seconds, plug it back in and try again.

@Hitomi: I am assuming your doing this update through the download manager? I had a similar issue like this with the last update being not so friendly on the D/L Manager. I had to use the update methods through settings to download it once again to get the install without error. Perhaps you could try the firmware update through that. (shrugs)

Sounds like an incomplete download.

Despite other devices working fine on your network, i'd suggest a power cycle of the router/modem for approx. 2mins. Disconnect all cables, including the power cable, from the router/modem for 2mins, do the same thing with the Wii U. This will eliminate reserved power in the router. Power on the Wii U first then the Router so that it potentially is the first device to connect to the network to prevent bandwidth issues then try the update again.

Let me know how that goes.

Also, does it occurs with other updates? If it occurs with other updates there maybe a port block in your network settings.

If there were an error code, goto the following link and search for it in the Nintendo Support page: http://www.nintendo....rrorcode-lookup

Check out the 'Help with Routers' section and there is a topic there to disable a Router firewall.

Hope this helps!
