as far as motion controls in this game, reviews have said its not as good as mario kart. this might be fixed with a patch, but you cant beat using numchuck with wiimote.

The wii version bonus addidtion adds outrun bay track and challenges, metal sonic and mods. You can also play with 5 ppl online with one console. Theres two extra party games in the wii version.

The gamepad can be used as weapon cam, rear view cam and a map. You can also use wiimote to drive while u have ur gamepad on a stand as a map.

only negative is no online chat.

I love the visuals on this game. I was watching my boys play a race and they were flying over the water and the water just looked so good. Then they go to shallow water and you could make out the ocean floor then it got deeper it was just awesome.

Shut up! Shut up! I have no money to buy any games and y'all make this sound amazing. FINALLY a sega game worth owning. I'm a sega fan from way back, playing nintendo consoles by default (& loving them). One day I'll get this game. Gonna try the demo later today.

I'm not getting my premium wii u until xmas day but have tekken and sonic transformed to play. I don't have nintendoland as it was traded in as I just felt the money would be better spent elsewhere. In the end its cost me around £250 for a premium wii u with sonic and tekken and I'm happy with that. I did have to get the wii u from Amazon france and use various vouchers to get the games cheap so a bit messy. I'm also factoring in the 3% cashback on my credit card and quidco. I may buy Nintendoland when I see it cheap but I'm more interested in Zombi U and Mario as my next wii u purchases.

I'm going to buy it from the eShop so I can start the Deluxe Digital Promotion. Anyone know if you get something if you only use gyro controls? Like in MK7 where you get a golden steering wheel.

It's funny because it's still so much easier to look at the mini map on screen, to press a button to look behind then to have to look down etc. If you have a playstation or xbox or especially pc get it on that but either way get the damn game. It's great. Pretty tough getting first on a lot of the races too. Loving this one.
