You do not need a tuner built-in. Check Samsung Smart View (stream from Samsung TV to SG2, SG3 in HD). All this Nintendo "TV"ii looks like a scam (for me), they should call it TVGuide-ii ot TVGuido!

are you able to watch shows on your game pad I have comcast but when I go to watch a show it asks if the tv is conncted to the cable box and it is so i hit yes to watch the show but nothing happens.I have Comcast and everything is working perfect . Cable box and tv . Pretty cool feature but nothing mind blowing .

All it does is control your tv and cable box it really has nothing to do with the Wii U, you're not watching anything through the Wii U or GamePad.are you able to watch shows on your game pad I have comcast but when I go to watch a show it asks if the tv is conncted to the cable box and it is so i hit yes to watch the show but nothing happens.
