I'll start by saying I just bought the Wii U and never owned a Wii. I really like the dungeon hack and slash style games that are Multiplayer. By this I mean locally although online would be a bonus as well. I'm looking for a game that would be comparable to Baldurs Gate or Champions of Norrath. I'm going to try Trine 2. Is there any other games that would be comparable even on the Wii?

in a word no but darksiders 2 is a third person hack and slasher god of war/zelda style and it is superb.

Check out Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper, it's about as hack 'n slash as you can get.
