Nope, no confirmation on a Wii U Animal Crossing game yet. But I'd say there will be one in the future, but not soon since the 3DS one hasn't even been brought overseas yet.

(P.S: Threads that discuss games for Wii U go in the Wii U Software section, just a friendly reminder :) )

None for the Wii U, probably the earliest we will see one on the Wii U is 2-3 years because the EAD that makes Animal Crossing games just finished up Nintendo Land and Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Very interested in playing an Animal Crossing game again that isn't on a handheld, and doesn't use motion controls.

Am i the only one who's not really a big fan of Animal Crossing?

I've played it a few times and it wasn't bad. I liked the one for the GameCube but idr what it's called off the top of my head. >.<

Haven't tried any others actually.

Argh, I can't WAIT for AC on 3DS, it seems like it's taking an eternity. Based on that wait, I'm not holding my breath for the Wii U version anytime soon.

I dont understand AC. I played for many many hours on Wii...but then gave up. What is the point. Fishing, decorating and fruit picking? I just dont see the gameplay in this. I must say, i understand games like Viva Pinata, harvest Moon or even Fantasy life looks good.... But what is the point of playing AC and what is the difference between this version of ac and another.

I liked the guards in the Nintendoland minigame version though, could spice things up....
