I don't think I've explained my new avatar yet. It's a picture of Fluttershy from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The image is from the episode Sonic Rainboom, in which Fluttershy is practising her cheering ahead of the Young Flyers competition. Here's a video of this moment for anyone who's interested:



I chose this image as my avatar because Fluttershy is my favourite pony in Ponyville and this was one of my favourite Fluttershy moments from season 1.

Mine's a screen grab of Twilight Sparkle the very first time you see her. After season 1's storybook-style intro, there's a quick scene that shows Twilight reading the book by a creek, then thoughtfully looking up at the sky. I thought it would make for an awesome avatar because a) Twilight's my favourite pony, b) this beautiful moment sets the stage for the entire season, and c) it's just a good picture of Twilight.

I changed my avatar to Link from Skyward Sword in honor of Skyward Sword getting a release date. I'll probably change it back once my hype for Skyward Sword dies down (read: after I beat it 10 times).

It's Nagisa Furukawa holding a Green "Dango" over her head. There is also a "Dango" to the left and one to the right of her.
