Ok, so muiltiuniverse. I don't really think they should call it "muiltiuniverse" because a universe is everything. Maybe miniverses. Ok, so let's get into my theory of the muiltiuniverse. So let's start off with a example of a stereotypical paradox. "but paradoxes have nothing to do with separate dimensions, it creates a big hole in time!" well, let's get to the example paradox of "back to the future". The main character has created a paradox and if he doesn't fix it he disappear. Now, this is the part of the paradox I don't agree with. Well, partially. So let's take a example of traveling back in time and killing your father before you were born. I think the universe will accept this. There may be a paradox, but you will still be there. What will happen is the paradox with split in two different dimensions- one where you will exist, and one where you won't. So that's my theory of muiltiuniverse and paradoxes. Share yours.

I follow the multiverse school (I think) of Quantum Physics. That being said, it's the only school I know of, and that's only because I spent about a week reading up on Q. Physics.
Anyway, my take on what I read is that for every single action (Or, rather, every randomization of quantum atoms or something...), a new universe/dimension is created. Most universes will follow the event that was most likely to happen; ie. An extremely sick person dying.
However, your consciousness will always follow the path in which your consciousness lives. They actually have a scientific method for testing this... Except, at least in most universes, the scientist won't survive
...At least, that's what I gathered from the ~20 hours I spent searching the web for Quantum stuff.

My take on actions is that a new universe is formed with each action, but most end up crumpling into another universe.
I.E. A universe where I wear a purple shirt and the main one where i wear a yellow would end up merging UNLESS if the difference in colours for that day created a major change in the fabric of reality itself.

Games that refuse to use Gameplay effectively to do anything are like films that refuse to use cinematography in film to do anything.

Multi.
Just sayin'.
A Universe is a timeline.
If we are to accept multiple universes, we accept multiple timelines.
If you time travel, you also cross universes.
So if I were to kill myself at a younger age, I won't disappear, since it's not in the same universe, and therefore timeline.
Or at least, that's what I made up in the last two minutes.

Um, the title and original post are wrong. No scientist talks about a "multi-universe", it's just "multiverse".
Just like a UNIverse is one, a MULTIverse contains several universes.
According to some recent theories, there's no such thing as a timeLINE. It's like a tree with branches, each one dividing into more branches at every point of decision.
So, when you go back in time and prevent something that (in your reference frame) had happened before, you don't change anything. You just wind up in another branch where that event didn't happen, in the same universe which you never left.
