Crysis 3 won't receive a Wii U version, it has been confirmed.[/size]

Despite being a "possibility" last year, CEO and founder of Crytek Cevat Yerli said "there is no Wii U version" due to a lack of "business drive" between publisher EA and Nintendo.

"There has been discussions between Nintendo and EA and Crytek, but the bottom line is that there is that there's not enough business drive in it," he told Digital Spy.


"It's a purely business decision. I'd love to see it on Wii U, but what I love to see and what gets done at the end of the day are two different things. Even so, I could initiate it but someone has to sell it, right?"]

I'm assuming this is because of the rumors of Nintendo not wanting to use EA's origin. I doubt we'll get any support from EA if this grudge between the two companies continue like this.

I LOVE the Crysis series the games are awesome and it actually has a story......for Crysis 2 on the xbox 360 i was in the top 500 people in the world for months for online multiplayer

I disagree. Whether people like it or not EA is one of the biggest third party developers/publisher out there whith some of the biggest and well known franchises. Nintendo needs them just as much on their side as Sony and Microsoft do. I disagree with some of EA's practices as much as anyone else but their support is definitely needed with regards to the success of any console.

It's not about EA. What kind of message do you think this is. Other, often smaller, devs follow suchs a trend and then its a downwards spiral. Nintendo needs to fix this. By...yes...marketing. I know its not their favorite thing but ...

So when we reckon we will get word on no bf4 for the same reasons, once again I think whoever at nintendo is in charge of relations with developers/publishers has a need to be stabbed with a rusty fork and thrown into a pit for the tetanus to finish them

multiplayer on crisis 2 was ok at best to me,and didnt like single player much,would of liked to of given this a go though as it does look good

in UK bleaveable. but 3-4 years makes the best reference point for gaming, anything lnoger tends to show holding on to old fame. and it doesnt vary by good or bad years. EA had a great year in 2012, nitendo and many other didnt, activisions just when off COD.

Aren't the Crysis games only popular for their graphics anyway? Not like Nintendo fans care much about graphics.

for benchmarking... I tried to play crysis 2, but I had no interest after 2 hours and I never touched it again. And I speak about PC, that is the best version.

A game I would love to see on wii U by EA, is sims 4 (is comming out this year I think)... its an open world, sim world, but what makes it ideal for wii U, is the controller and the ability to built and disign houses!!! So it could be a great fit with the controller and the stylus! especialy if they have online mode.. to meet other sims/players.

I would suggest you to start petitions from today, about upcoming games.. dont make them in the last momment!

Ironically, I think sales of Wii U in Europe is less then other parts of the world.

But this won't kill Nintendo. EA is huge, sure, but they won't kill Nintendo. People buy Nintendo for Nintendo games. Other games don't matter.

Other games is likd icing on a very moist and amszingly delicous cake.

I feel terrible about that. Still though, my real post being:
[rant] I can't blame nintendo. Origin is terrible, and it's effectively a oh-why-does-this-exist-on-my-computer-it's-taking-up-half-the-space-steam clone. And EA ruined many great games. The last thing we need is Mario powerups as DLC. [/rant]

I'm getting fed up with EA, why are good companies like THQ dyind and crappy ones like EA thriving? Go die in a hole EA and auction off all your decent games to better publishers.
