I was shaking up and down during the last of half of the Direct. It was great! Can't wait 'till E3!

I'm a little hesitent on the art-style of the Yoshi game. But, all the other games out-weighed Yoshi with awesomeness! Don't get me wrong, a new Yoshi game is gonna' be great! But, is the art-style supposed to be like Kirby Epic Yarn? What's the deal?

I am excited about everything. I am an Xbox fanboy but haven't touched my 360 since getting the wii u and I own all the same games on both consoles(except zombiu obviously) I think the miiverse is what draws me in the most. As an avid twitter user it reminds me of twitter for gamers, plus movies ad tv thanks tho their respective apps. I think they did a great job with this presentation because it showed me that Nintendo isn't playing around. Also, I think a lot of third party developers will get behind it. Everyone is saying on there are no games for it from third parties, do people not know that besides metal gear, watch dogs(which with ac3, rayman, and zombiu coming to wii u I don't understand why this isn't lol), and gta 5 there are no real multiplat games coming out this year?? Lol Sony is going to come strong and Nintendo is going to come strong with first party titles while Microsoft is moving towards next gen. We will be getting those other games like injustice and what not in the next couple of months until next gens get revealed. I'm excited for the wii u and the future, while other companies have to worry about launching and branding their new consoles Nintendo already did it and now can only focus on getting games, Sony and ms have to play catch up. Smart move Nintendo. Lol

Yes, it would seem so. Although, it appears to me they are still expirimenting with art/game styles.

I don't want to sound like a fanboy, but Sony And Microsoft are going to be dead.
The amount of games they have announced is crazy, new Zelda, Pokemans, Mario, etc.
Anyway, i think there is a really high chance that the 3D Mario will be Super Mario Sunshine 2, that game would look incredible in HD!

The thing is you do sound like a fanboy as neither you or anyone else outside of those companies know what they are going to announce you are just making an assumption. For all we know regardless of what Nintendo announces Sony or Microsoft could very well one up them.

Well, it looks like I might finally have some incoming titles on the Wii U that I might want. Namely Mario Kart U and the new Super Mario 3D game.

However, it's still a "It depends" situation. For example, if the 3D Mario title is just a continuation of the linear world design of the Galaxy series and 3D Land (which I'm, sadly, having to assume it will be), then it's not such an exciting game for me. However, if it is really more like 64/Sunshine than it might be a system seller for me.

Mario Kart U... Considering all of the Mario Kart games I have played (that is all of them), I'm not jumping up and down for this title. However, it could get me excited due to my internet situation. That is that I recently acquired an adapter to hook my Wii up to the internet (I don't have wireless internet), and I realized it was a little too late since now everybody is moving on to the Wii U. If this would still work for the Wii U (it has USB drives, right?, so hopefully) then that would mean I would have access to the online community, which I just can't have with the 3DS. Seeing as Mario Kart Wii was the most fun game online for me (it was frustrating too, not denying that) years back, I'd assume that Mario Kart U could be as well. So in an odd way, the expected title that probably won't do anything spectacular, might sell the system for me.

I got somewhat mixed feelings about the whole thing. Logically, Nintendo does everything right. Before the coming E3 Wii U owners will have Pikmin 3, LEGO City Undercover, Wonderful 101, Rayman Legends - all these are exclusives. And then, when E3 comes, they are supposed to show a loooot more new stuff. On the other hand, however, it is just not quite enough, you know. Why not bring some AAA multiplatform titles ? Tomb Raider, Metro: Last Light, Dead Space 3, Bioshock Infinite ? What's the problem with that ?

Oh well, hopefully a brand new mario, i LOVED galaxy 1, not really two, i don't think it should get a 3, they should start the Wii U off with a great fresh mario game IMO

I've got a feeling it will be the third installment in the Galaxy series. But, it will be Mario Universe, playing up the 'U'. Just makes a lot of sense to me.

^^^ I have a feeling it might be something new, I dont think it will be 100% galaxy based as the same guy's who made galaxy also made Mario 3d land for DS. Possibly a mash up of the 2.

I got super exited over most of the news! New Mario Kart, new 3D Mario, new Smash Bros., new Zelda game coming, an HD remake of Wind Waker, the miiverse updates, and virtual console! The best part about this for me is that I'll be able to see all of these games with Nintendo's polish in glorious HD! For the Mario 3D game, I'm hoping to see a brand new theme instead of Galaxy or Sunshine, but if it is a sequel to one of those games, I'll be exited anyway!
