We don't know yet. I would think GameCube VC in now unlikely because of the Wind Waker remake.

I doubt awesomenauts, but I'd buy it again if it did.
iplayer is probably a given, as soon as the bbc get on that. Probably be part of TVii when it launches.
Facebooke, no, they want you to use the browser so they get ad money.
I doubt gamecube will come until next console.

What's awesomenauts?

a super-awesome game.

I wish they'd hurry up with these media players. I dont care if they implement them into TVii or not but we need:

iPlayer
Sky Go
4OD
STV/ITV Player

And we need them soon. Netflix and LoveFilm just arent enough.

I don't get why people think that Gamecube games won't make it to the Virtual Console. The reason Wind Waker is getting an HD remake is because when the Zelda team was deciding an artstyle, they remade parts of past games into HD (The Zelda demo at E3 11 was based on the Temple of Time Boss, and the screenshots we saw were from Windfall Island, they probably did the same with Majora's Mask/Ocarina of Time), and they were so blown away at what they did with Wind Waker so they decided to remake it in full.

Reggie said that he would like Gamecube games on the Virtual Console, so it may happen.

But wait, the Gamecube had clickable triggers! Well, you can use the L and R buttons for it. For example: In Super Mario Sunshine, if you pressed lightly on R, you would be able to move and spray, and if you held down R until it clicked, you would stand still. On the Gamepad, ZR could be lightly pressing it, and R could be holding it down, or vice versa. In Luigi's Mansion, if you gently pressed L, you would shoot your element in a steady stream, and if you clicked it, it would launch out. ZL could be the stream, and L could be launching it. Not a lot of games that I can think of used the analog triggers excpet racing games, but the only ones I would like to see on the VC are Double Dash, F-Zero, and Kirby Air Ride.

One of the developers over on Ronimo's forums said that they are not working on a Wii U version of Awesomenauts at this time. As of now all of their attention is on the PC version since it is actually rather successful there. I'm going to guess that the console patch cost fiasco has worried them from making a newer console version as well, even if Wii U apparently has free patches.

As for BBC and iPlayer... I'm not sure what either of those are. Facebook can be accessed through the browser rather quickly if you make it one of your bookmarked pages though. Not sure on how well it runs, but it's still there nonetheless. An app would be nice now that you mention it however.

Gamecube games are looking to be a low possibility now with the (ironically) unfortunate reveal of Wind Waker HD. Which is... Quite a shame, again, in the most ironic way.

....

PACK UP THE MIIVERSE GUYS, ITS NO GAME. AND THE INTERNET BROWSER WHILE WE'RE AT IT.

To just say something like that is nonsensical. Consoles in the modern age need more than just games for competitive purposes. Which one's better, a $250 PS3 with Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, Browser, plus who knows what else, PLUS games. Or a $350 Wii U that can play games. Yeah, PS3 wins by a longshot in that situation. Now change the Wii U to what it actually is and you gain a more even match.

Also, Awesomenauts is a game.

BBC is one of the main television broadcasters here in the UK. They are in a way equivilant to PBS in the US but are far more main stream. They have four main channels with no commercials plus several other commercial TV franchises they own. The iPlayer is their online digital on demand app like the ones US channels have to watch their content over the Internet. They do have an American channel which I believe is called BBC America.
