I just saw this article refering to a Nintendo NFC game, think Skylanders, Disney Infinity or even Viva Pinata. It can go in a lot of directions, not even mentioned is pricing so extra Cards could be cheap or free. Figurines will cost I think. Also, think about what Franchises could fit this, Pokemon comes to mind but also NintendoWorld(nintendoland2)...

Anyway, what do you guys think?

The first thing that came to my mind was Animal Crossing for Wii U. Who here remembers the E-reader for the Gamecube one? Good times indeed.

Pokemon Trading Card Game. New cards they release are NFC compatable, so you can bring them up to the main game.

Viva Piñata would be an option as its a Microsoft 1st party franchise.

I meant to think alongs the line of the mechanics used in those games. VP had a card trading option, they used the scanner but NFC would be even better. Sure VP would never come to WiiU...but it showed up on DS :)

They could do a Pokemon Trading Card game or a Yu-Gi-Oh!!! game, that would work very well with Wii U.
