Why Nintendo should be important to Sony and MS

I believe that a lot of parents buy Nintendo related products for their kids. The software and identity are much less scary for parents to buy for their younger children. I for one would not buy a 360 or PS3 solely for the kids. So in fact, it's because of Nintendo that children grow up with games and are hungry for something new when they are a bit older. Other than that, Nintendo is the key innovator whose efforts freshen up the gameindustry time after time. Fourpointcontrol, thumbstick, rumble, dualtouchscreen, motioncontrol. I think that without the big N things would become stale very quick.

I agree, but if you ask me, I think the PS3 is far more safe than the xbox with it having better E-T rated games than the xbox.I don't think they see it that way but...

yeah, Xbox=fpsbox. I mean, the thing was built with triggers just like guns, how can it not be made to virtually shoot people.I agree, but if you ask me, I think the PS3 is far more safe than the xbox with it having better E-T rated games than the xbox.
I was once known here as KillerMario, but since I really like Banjo-Kazooie, I changed my display name to show them my respect

First controller input I used (at least at home) was a mouse and keyboard. It still has yet to be topped for the vast majority of games. The rest of your argument I fell is grabbing at straws as well.

The wonderful thing about Nintendo is they can captivate audiences from 5 to 95. However they still need to work on winning back their popularaity in teens and young adults.I don't think they see it that way but...

Companies might, and I sort of want it as well for some aspects. It would be nice to have Nintendo games on the PC with free cloud saving so you never lose that lovely save files, no crappy DD services so you could buy digital with no worries, probably an easy to access & use friend list, and maybe some decent multi-player with actual dedicated game servers and/or a fair matchmaking system. Ah, that would be a nice dream come true. (Ugg, why do you make something so difficult Nintendo?)I can imagine a situation where MS and Sony would be quite happy to see Nintendo drop out of the console business like Sega and produce their first-party games for Playstation and Xbox.
