First the battery does have 10 hours of battery life confirmed it works nicely installation a breeze more information check this out.

74 dollars to sit on my couch next to my completely open wall outlet


or sit on my couch with it plugged into my wall outlet for free...

Something that adds more bulk to the Gamepad for just a few more hours of battery life. No thanks.

I want to go this route as well. Seems like an easy enough switcheroo.

That's too much money, no thanks.

I don't game for more than 2 or 3 hours, so this is essentially useless.

How extremely useless. I personally don't see why anyone would spend that much money. The gamepad isn't a handheld device no matter how much people want it to be. At the end of the day, it's a controller that needs a power source to even function, so the battery life doesn't bother me at all.

I've yet to play long enough to enough drain more than half of my battery.
